Google needed to promote the annual event at Cannes where visitors would be jumping between different events, often with last minute schedule changes. Previously more of a brochure website — we wanted to do something different.

With visitors primarily on mobile devices and tablets we designed a quick, fast loading, mobile-first website using the bright colourful branding developed by Anthony Burill. Despite the 5 week turn-around from brief to live the site was packed with a built in up-to-date calendar, the ability to add events to your device calendar, videos and maps, visitors to the event could locate their events, be notified of any changes and see what else was happening around Cannes.
